Is Your Generosity Plan on Autopilot?

By Steve Lear

In our website’s October Spotlight feature, we introduced you to Generosity Advisor Joshua Chadajo and his business, JEC Philanthropy.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out his services, I highly recommend the Charitable Gift Review and Analysis, a wonderful system that helps me make meaningful decisions about my charitable giving. Here are the highlights:

What is included in this analysis?

A Comprehensive Report:
Documents your giving history, which includes:

  • A clear record of the organizations you have supported over the past two years.
  • Your donation amount.
  • The purpose of each gift.

An Understanding of Why You Give:
Reviews each gift to ensure it meets your giving objectives.

Funding Insight
Reveals your funding priorities based on your actual giving.

A Giving Guide
Offers practical advice to help you give more, with greater joy and intention.

What level of giving will benefit most from this service?

If you give away – or could give away – $50,000 or more per year, this service is for you!

How does this process work?

There are four easy steps:

  • Step One
Share your donation information in whatever format you keep it: Word documents, emails, tax-return listings, or your donor-advised fund history.
  • Step Two
JEC Philanthropy enters your information into their gift-tracking document.
  • Step Three
You’ll review why you give to each organization.
  • Step Four
JEC shares the results of its data analysis with you to guide your charitable giving in the new year. That’s it – you’re done!

How much does it cost?

There are two options:

  • A one-time fee of $950, which is refunded to you if you become an annual JEC Philanthropy client.
  • A two-year review option of $750. You can still take advantage of the refund benefit.

How do I get started?
