Through this community forum focused on encouraging generosity, promoting career development, improving leadership, and advancing financial literacy education, I want to empower and transform your personal and professional life through the ideas you explore on stevelear.org. I invite you to join our website community and become part of this journey.

Who

Steve Lear
Founder. Visionary. Changemaker.

In a career spanning 45 years and counting, I have devoted my time and energy to personal finance, philanthropy, and leadership training.

My role in this community forum expands those interests by creating an interactive learning center focused on generosity, career development, leadership, and financial literacy education.

I am passionate about encouraging people to increase their charitable giving to support community organizations.

I am equally committed to helping people develop stronger career and leadership skills as a Kolbe-certified consultant, an advocate for the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), and a past participant in Dan Sullivan’s Strategic Coach program.

I have also worked to help the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) pass important legislation: beginning in 2025, high school students are required to take a personal finance course before graduation. I continue to promote financial literacy education as an MCEE Board Member.

In addition, I have been privileged to help create the following philanthropic organizations:

I look forward to sharing personal wisdom through this site and exchanging ideas and opinions with members of the SteveLear.org community – because I believe a wise person learns from everyone.

While I am honored to have won industry and community recognition for my work, my proudest achievements are personal. I am blessed to have the best clients in town, dear friends who tell me the truth, and a wonderful family that includes seven children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren.

I dedicate this site with deep gratitude to the many people whose ideas challenge and motivate me to keep working to repair the world.
